I reviewed Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush before and absolutely fell in love over the last few months, and to see that review you can click here. “Exposed” has since become my staple every day blush and I have used it almost every single day for 4 months, that is how much I love the Tarte blushes. So I knew I wanted to stock up on almost every color, but paying $25 for each hurts my wallet, so I decided to pick up just one more for right now and couldn’t be happier.
This is from TarteCosmetics.com:
For those who want an alternative blush to tarte’s award-winning gel and cream cheek stains, we’re now offering Amazonian clay 12-hour blush in 8 shades. Inspired by our best-selling cheek and lip stains, shades range from soft pink (dollface) to deep berry (flush). Used alone or with our best-selling natural cheek stains, this blush is sure to give you that natural glow.
These solar-baked blushes are infused with Amazonian Clay, natures most perfect ingredient. These nutrient rich and skin-nourishing Amazonian clay blushes restore harmony for a flawless finish that lasts all day. The soft blush is great for all skin types:
Oily skin: Amazonian clay minimizes oil in and around pores to balance skin and keep product in place
Dry skin: Amazonian clay hydrates skin naturally to restore moisture so your blush wears better & longer
Dull skin: Amazonian clay improves the appearance of skin clarity and skin texture
Combination skin: Amazonian clay is completely intuitive; gives skin an overall smooth & even appearance
“Tipsy” is a bright coral matte blush, as you can tell from the packaging. The outside color of the blush is always the same color as the blush which is amazing for makeup collectors. For girls who have way too much makeup, seeing a sea of black packages when opening your makeup draw can be a little intimidating and confusing. So having the same color packaging as the blush makes it really easy for me.
When you first get the blush, there is a cool picture of the amazon river and the amazon which, I’m excited to report, doesn’t go away for a while. I’ve had my other one for months and use it almost every day and the pattern is faded but still intact. It also includes a small mirror on the top.
As you can see, this definitely is a matte bright coral. One amazing thing I have to say is this blush is incredibly pigmented. This is one of the most pigmented blushes I’ve ever used, even more pigmented than my Milani Baked Blushes. Overall, I’m still in love with these blushes and still want a ton of shades. This is more pigmented than my other Tarte blush but just as pretty and long lasting. I can’t wait until the summer because I know I will rock this blush nonstop.
