My second Hunger Games polish! Like I said in a previous post, I’m going through job interviews right now for a summer internship. So needless to say, I need appropriate nails! I don’t like a potential future employer would like lime green or bright yellow nails. So I wanted to keep with my Project Use my Un-Used and picked the most neutral polish in there. China Glaze “Fast Track” is the polish for the transportation districto of Panem. While I don’t think this really represents transportation, this was a surprising love for me!
I didn’t think I would like this polish as much as I do! I thought it would be another boring work color, but honestly I didn’t want to take it off after my interview! It is a light biege putty color with a TON of gold shimmer in it. And the surprising thing that you can’t tell from swatches or the bottle is that this has a slight green tone or green shimmer. I don’t know what it is but this color pulls a little green and jumps off my nails. It is super flattering to my skin tone and has quickly become my favorite neutral in my entire collection. This was opaque in 2 coats even over the dark purple shellac I still have on! This is a must have for any one who likes these sorts of colors or work in an office setting that don’t allow too many crazy colors. I’m in love and the best part … my interviewer even complimented this polish! She said it was so beautiful and totally appropriate for an interview and she wanted to know where to get it!
