I’m a few manicures backed up due to finals. I had purposely held back a few of them so when I was bogged down with civil procedure and property law and didn’t have time to change my manicure I could still give you guys something new. So this manicure is from a few days ago but definitely was well loved. China Glaze “Secret Periwinkle” was my favorite nail polish last spring. I can’t count the times I wore this polish, so much that almost half the bottle is gone. I loved this so much that I ended up buying 2 other polishes from other companies that are 100% dupes of this one and had no idea … I guess periwinkle was on the brain last year. So when I was looking through my stash and realized that I haven’t worn this polish yet this spring, I was almost angry with myself. And last spring I had always paired this with Deborah Lippmann “Happy Birthday”, I decided to pair it with another unloved polish. Nails Inc “Connaught Square” is an opaque primary blue glitter with chunkier pieces of purple glitter. Opaque in 2 coats, dries a little matte but it isn’t as rough as the other Nails Inc glitters I have. I’ve worn this as a full manicure but never as an accent nail, and I have to say I kind of like it. I think I would like it better on a navy polish but its fun for spring, even if it snowed here today!
I love both of the colours! It looks good together 🙂
