Day 6 of the 30 Day Makeup Challenge

Day 6: A picture of animal print eyeshadow

I think this is the weirdest day in the entire challenge  Animal Print Eyeshadow?? What? Am I supposed to create tiger stripes with orange and black eye shadow? The only thing I could think of was to do an extreme cat-eye, winged liner and use a darker shadow color to set the liquid liner.  But that seemed too expected and its also a work day.  So I pulled out an animal print makeup product that can be worn as an eyeshadow and utilized that.  In a way I’m totally cheating, but it was the best way I could come up with incorporating this days challenge while still being comfortable in the makeup I’m wearing.  I know this is a tad boring, but kind of like the bronze look.

Keep reading for a close up picture and swatch of the product!

The NYX Tango with Bronzing Powder is a very sheer shimmery bronzer.  I got this because it is supposed to be a dead-on dupe of the Too Faced Pink Leopard bronzer except $20 cheaper.  This is my go-to winter bronzer because it is so sheer and gives a gentle wash of color.  But in the summer I use it all over my face to give that bronzed-glowy look.

As you can see, its not super shimmery but also not entirely matte either.  It gives the perfect dewy look which is why I love it for summer.

In this picture I’m wearing it all over my face to set my BB cream.  It gives the perfect dewy bronzed look!  I really like how glowy it makes my skin look.  I also attempted to put the lighter brown sections of the bronzer all of my lid and the darker brown in my crease.  But again, this product is very sheer and doesn’t show up unless you pile on the product.

This is how I do animal print for makeup.  To punch it up and make me feel like I didn’t cheat too bad, I put on a pair of leopard print shoes!

Hope you guys like this post! Do any of you have this product or the too faced dupe?

Price: $4.99 available at Ulta!
