First off, how do you guys like the new layout!?!? I have been thinking for a really long time that I needed to change my site around. After a really frustrating day at work I decided that I had to do something that I enjoyed. So I spent some time working on a new look for my blog, totally procrastinating and putting off all the reading I have to do. Also, I finally got involved with BlogLovin! That was another thing I was thinking about doing for a really long time. When I first really began writing on my blog, I didn’t pay any attention to how to reach more people. I just kind of took pictures of my manicure and posted my YouTube videos and didn’t give this space a second thought. Since really getting involved in blogging, almost a year ago, I have gotten much more traffic than I ever thought I would. But still I had never come up with an easier way for people to follow my site. Now, for all of you who aren’t wordpress bloggers, you can follow my blog more easily! Follow my blog with Bloglovin
And I also added pinterest and tumblr share links along with my facebook and twitter share links at the bottom of every post. Once I hit my first follower milestone I’m going to do a giveaway! So hopefully this new layout and new ways to follow me will help. Now on to the real post! After wearing China Glaze “Harvest Moon” I kept thinking that maybe it wasn’t the fact that that particular polish is a “fall” color. Maybe it was because I just wasn’t as impressed with that polish against my skin tone as I thought I would be. So I pulled out another “fall” un-used polish. Wet ‘n Wild “Cougar Attack” was a limited edition halloween color that was released last year. I went crazy trying to find it because it is supposed to be a dupe for Deborah Lippmann “Superstar”. To see the comparison post that made me go crazy trying to get my hands on this polish, click on the link here to see VampyVarnish’s post. Well, its definitely not limited edition anymore and a part of the Wet ‘n Wild Spoiled permanent line. But what it is is amazing!
I really found that I loved wearing this color, even though its a fall color. Its a cooper glitter suspended in a brown jelly base. This is 2 coats and its fully opaque. The polish was a little thick but I didn’t really mind since I expected it, from using other polishes that have the same consistency. It evened out nicely on the nail and dried really quickly. I really really liked it and would totally recommend picking this up for fall.
Have any of you tried this polish? Do any of you have the Deborah Lippmann dupe?
I love this color!
thanks!! and its super cheap too so that just makes it better in my eyes
OMG i LOVE what you have done with your blog!!!!! seriously looks kick ass i love it!!! i have been curious about this polish as well – i passed on it last year because i didn’t think i would wear it often enough. But now i wish i got it!!! lol
do you guys get the spoiled line in canada? cuz you can still get it! its definitely worth the $1.99
no i wish we got the spoiled line in canada. From some of the girls videos i watch on youtube, i believe it’s a cvs exclusive to the US. but at $1.99 that’s AMAZING! i really love the sinful colours polishes you sent me as well. i would hoard those! lol
do you ever come south to Niagara or buffalo?
I don’t usually go to Niagara and i haven’t been to buffalo. i am in need of a road trip! lol
yeah you definitely are! where do you normally go on vacation?
I was already following you via Bloglovin 🙂 I love it, I follow all the blogs I read on it!
I think it’s way better than the other following systems on blogs!
I also use it for my blog, I find more people follow me via bloglovin than the blogger follow system!
This color is totally gorgeous! Too bad Wet n Wild isn’t available where I live 😦
seriously??? you don’t get wet n wild in Australia? that sucks but it seems kind of fitting because there are so many australian brands that i drool over that it costs a crap ton of money to ship.
Your blog looks good! I like it 🙂 Ah nice polish too
aww thanks!
I usually read your posts via Google Reader – I’ve never even heard of Bloglovin, I guess I’ll have to check it out! I do use Pinterest a good bit so I will pin nail pictures, and I use twitter and tumblr regularly also. Love this color!
oh google reader?? i didn’t even think of that one! i need to get tuned in with all this technology lol and thanks!
