Day 13 of the 30 Day Makeup Challenge

Day 13: The most creative thing you can do with makeup

Bet you guys forgot I was still doing this! I am slacking so bad on this makeup challenge! Since school started I’ve found it harder to play with makeup, besides my every day neutral makeup.  I had some free time tonight so I figured I would try out whatever Day 13 would throw at me.  I was so happy to see what this day had in store for me because I think the most creative thing I can do with makeup is any type of Halloween makeup!

I absolutely love Halloween.  It is probably tied with Christmas for my favorite holiday.  I get so into the haunted houses, the scary movie marathons, the makeup and the nail polish that I drive my boyfriend crazy.  We get into a big fight every October over who controls the television, him with football or me with scary movies.  So I figured I would post all of my Halloween makeups from last year! I haven’t really figured out what I’m going to attempt this year, and I’m forcing myself to wait to try out my ideas because its still a little early.  But here is an idea of what I’ve done in the past! I hope you guys like this!

Zombie Makeup!

Products used:

  • wet n wild concealer in fair and a fair foundation all over my face to get it as pale as possible (used it on my lips and brows as well to mute them out)
  • set it with fair shade of powder
  • black and grey eye shadow for my contour (which isn’t super obvious in this picture but you can see it around my hairline)
  • purple, red and black eye shadow to create the hallows around my eyes
  • mascara
  • purple gel liner to draw on the veins

Spider Lady (lame name but I couldn’t come up with anything better)

Products used:

  • Foundation, concealer, powder
  • Pink shimmery blush
  • White shimmer eye shadow from Sephora across my lid, inner corner, lower lash line and brow highlight
  • Grey and Black shadows from the Naked Palette in the crease, outer v and lower lash line
  • Black liner on upper and lower lash line.  On one side I had my wing be the start of the spider web
  • Spider webs and the spiders were created just drawing it on with black gel liner
  • Loose cosmetic silver holographic glitter form Nyx
  • Hot pink lipstick and lipgloss

Sexy Pinup Cat with Leopard Lips:

Products Used:

  • Foundation, concealer and powder
  • Pink shimmery blush
  • Stila Kitten Highlighter (I remember that one because I thought using Kitten was appropriate here)
  • Pink and purple pigments as eye shadows
  • White liner on water line, winged black liquid liner on top lash line
  • Black gel liner for the nose and whiskers
  • Tart lip surgence matte lip stain in Lucky
  • Waterproof and smudge proof black liner drawn on leopard spots on my lips
  • You can use a lip and brow sealant on your lips so they won’t smudge even more! But I used a lip stain and water proof and smudge proof liner and it stayed on without bleeding together for a while

Broken Sexy Doll:

Products Used:

  • Foundation, concealer and powder
  • Cranberry eye shadow on 1st third of the lid, grey from the naked palette on 2nd third and in the crease, and black on the outer third and to deepen up the crease.  The Cranberry shade was also used as a best friend color above the crease.  White matte shadow brow highlight
  • White liner on the lower lash line extended pretty far down and on the water line
  • Black gel liner on the upper lash line and tracing the white below the lower lash line about a third of the way in, and then drawn 3 lines for fake doll drawn on lashes
  • Black gel liner used for the cracks on my forehead and the side of the face, as well as the freckles
  • Red shadow used for the circles on the apples of my cheeks
  • concealer on my lips to white them out
  • pink lipstick in the shape of a heart in the center of my lips
  • black gel liner outlining the pink lipstick and then drawn on for the stitches smile

I can’t believe I remembered everything I did, or close to everything, for these looks! I can’t wait to experiment some more for Halloween this year!

Hopefully you guys liked this post and are getting in the mood for Halloween!
What is the most creative thing you can do with makeup? Which one of these looks is your favorite?
