Hare Polish “Bisbee”

I don’t have that many indie brand polishes in my collection.  There a number of different reasons why, but I think a big reason why is that I was spoiled with the first indie brand I ever purchased from.  I have said several times on here that I had been following Nikole, the maker of Hare Polish, on tumblr way before she even starting making nail polish.  She just had the best swatches and the coolest ideas for layering.  I even remember her first franken, which was supposed to be a dupe of Deborah Lippmann’s “Glitter in the Air”, which used the Wet ‘n Wild “Party of Five Glitters”.  She actually inspired me to franken some of my own polishes, which never turned out as well as hers did.  So when she first started showing her creations in Tumblr, and then selling them on Etsy, I had to get every single one.  I ordered from her very first order, and picked up her first 3 polishes and in her most recent surprise sale I picked up 4 more! This polish was from that very first order and first batch she ever made!

Hare Polish “Bisbee” is a turquoise jelly polish with chunky gold glitter hex glitters.  The name came from the turquoise mines in Bisbee, Arizona.  I think this polish is so unique and so pretty! Plus the formula is incredible.  I know that Nikole has said several times on her Facebook page that she is working to reformulate this and other polishes from her early days in making polish, but in my mind this is a very easy formula to work with.

This is 2 coats on its own and it reached full opacity, and it dries pretty quickly.  The thing that I like the most about this polish is the glitter in it.  You don’t have to dig around to get the glitter pieces out of the bottle, nor do you have to move glitter around on the nail to make sure that you get a good amount of coverage.  This is such an effortless polish, until its time for removal!

Do any of you own any Hare Polishes? Have you heard of Hare Polish? What do you think of this one?

Her store on etsy is stocked right now so if you want to pick up some of her newer colors you can! Also, she is now selling her polishes on Llarowe.
