First off, Happy Thanksgiving to all of my American friends here! I hope you have a great day with your friends/family/loved ones! Hopefully everyone has enough food to eat and someone to share their time with! I have so much to be thankful for, but since I’m writing on this venue I am so thankful for all of you! Everyone who reads my blog, comments on my posts, likes the things that I have to say, I cannot express my gratitude enough. I’m so bless to be able to have this as an outlet from my every day life and then to have just one person reading is amazing, but to have all of you guys is such an honor. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart and allowing me to continue talking about nail polish and makeup!
Ok, now onto the nail polish! One thing about Thanksgiving for me is that I have to wear brown. Don’t ask me why, maybe its ingrained from years in elementary school with brown turkey’s and the brown environment. So I grabbed one of my new brown polishes for the occasion!
Butter London “Scuppered” is a brown polish that has flecks of gold, bronze and a little pink in there. Its an ultra shimmery almost brown foil type finish. The base color is very very similar to OPI “Warm and Fozzie”, which was the polish I wore on last years Thanksgiving day. I just finished photographing comparison swatches of this polish and Warm and Fozzie so be on the lookout! What makes this polish completely unique from Warm and Fozzie are the little pieces of green glitter! That is what made me what this polish! This is so unique but I do wish that you got more green glitter on your nails because it is a little subtle.
The formula on this polish was great as usual. Butter London does have some amazing formula polishes! This was almost a one coater. I think you might be able to get away with 1 thick coat if you’re in a hurry, but I did two for all of the pictures. The dry time was fast as well. No complaints!
What do you guys think? Do any of you have this polish? Do any of you want this one? What are your favorite brown polishes?
And HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!
