Sorry for the quality of the picture guys! I hate using indoor lighting to take my pictures because I like to show you what the color looks like with natural lighting. But I have been ridiculously busy with school in the last week or week and a half that I haven’t had a chance to really take great pictures of my manicures. I guess I have some explaining to do on that front, because it also goes to why I’ve been a little absent from my blog lately. I am getting into finals time and the end of the semester and everything is coming due. Aside from this being Thanksgiving week and weekend for us in the states, I also had my rough draft due before midnight on Wednesday for a 45 page law review article. Any of you that are thinking about going to law school, law review is an amazing opportunity and resume booster but it is a whole hell of a lot of work. Researching and writing a 45 page paper is just a little time consuming, so I haven’t had much time to even change my manicure, let alone tell you guys which polish I’m wearing. This upcoming week is my last week of school so I have a ton of work to do before Wednesday, and then study for finals the week after. I’m going to do my best to continue to blog every day, because I hate going more than one day without blogging, but please be patient with me if I take a little time to reply to your comments! Thanks!
Now onto the polish!
If you notice the piece of bounty that is showing off the polish so nicely? Yeah, that’s what I need to do to get the color to show up correctly when I take pictures at night lol. This is another reason why I hate taking pictures with indoor lighting. Zoya “Ziv” is a neutral gold foil with warmer gold glitter. This is definitely a more unique gold foil in my collection because it has those warmer gold glitter pieces in there. I absolutely love this color because it really goes well with my skin tone. Its not to yellow or too orange, its a very natural neutral gold and it really glows on the nail. The formula was also amazing. It went on smoothly, completely opaque in 2 coats and dries to a smooth finish. I thought it would have a little bit of a bumpy finish because of the glitter but it doesn’t. Dry time was really really fast, which is a great bonus! And the consistency wasn’t too thick or thin, it was just right in the middle. Overall, I really like this polish! It has quickly become one of my favorite golds in my collection!
What do you guys think? Do you have this shade? What are your favorite gold polishes?
