Happy 2013 everyone! This is the first time I’ve been able to get to a computer to blog this year, so I hope everyone had a great New Years Eve and a great New Years day. New Years Eve was an event and a half for me because I live around the corner from the biggest bar district in my city, so I had a few friends come up to spend the new year partying the night away. Also, my brother turned 21 a month ago so he wanted to experience the bar scene so him and a few of his friends came over to my apartment as well. My boyfriend and I ended up having a huge party for everyone New Years Eve, then we all went out to the bars for the rest of the night. New Years day was spent with friends in the morning, my mom all afternoon and my dad and grandparents at night. New Years day is always the last day of the holiday season for me and my family, so I’m looking forward to getting back to normal a little. I have some exciting things planned for my blog and YouTube channel while I’m still on winter break from school. But for now, I’ll just talk about another new polish to my collection!
Gosh “Berry Me” is a polish that I got in a swap recently from my friend Lindsay up in Canada. She obviously knows my taste because I absolutely love these deep berry red type of colors. While this color isn’t completely unique, it is absolutely gorgeous. Berry Me is the type of polish that I love to have in my collection because its universally flattering and appropriate for every occasion. Its vampy enough to make my feel sexy when I wear it, but I feel like I could wear this to work.
The formula on this polish is what sets this polish apart from the other berry reds I have in my collection. The other polishes I have that are similar take 3 coats to get it completely opaque. This polish only takes 2 and dries really quick and glossy! The only complaint I have isn’t about the color, but the brush and brush handle are a little awkward to use. The large cap and end of the brush made it a little difficult to move around, but that is so minor that it wouldn’t stop me from purchasing more Gosh polishes. Overall, this is a great polish and I can’t thank Lindsay enough for sending this one to me in our swap!
What do you guys think? Do you like berry type colors? What is your favorite berry red polish?
