I have been going through a massive nude polish phase this entire winter. I bet some of you are really sick of seeing all these subdued colors, but maybe its a sign that I’m growing up that I’m loving all these sophisticated neutral colors. On January 1st I took off my glitter and black manicure and put on a nude and haven’t really looked back since. So when Zoya did they’re most recent sale, 3 polishes and shipping for $10, I ended up picking up 2 nude-y shades. I originally had a different polish on my wishlist but it was a part of the new Spring collection and they excluded Spring colors from that sale. So I decided on going for a different shade to curb my cravings for that new nude creme color. This came out in Zoya’s spring collection last year and I completely over looked it. Now that I’ve had the chance to see the Zoya spring collection, I think I like this color even better!
Zoya “Cho” is a yellow toned nude beige creme. I think what I love the most about this polish is that there is a very very subtle shimmer to this color. You can’t even see it in my pictures, but I promise that there is a subtle shimmer. It gives this polish a little more depth and makes it more unique than the other nudes in my collection.
The formula was very similar to other nudes that I have. It takes 3 coats to be completely opaque, and my suggestion is doing very thin coats. It does go on a little streaky on the first coat, but evens out on the second. Also, it dries to a nice and shiny finish. The dry time was good, considering it was 3 coats. Overall, this is a nice nude that would be great for a work environment and I bet this would look really nice with a tan. Overall, I really like this polish and feel like it could be great for any occasion!
What do you guys think? What are your favorite nude polishes?
