Herome “Edinburgh”

IMG_6373I’m officially on my spring break, but I’ve had the busiest few days all winter! I spent all day Thursday and Friday completing an online research assignment that is required in order for me to graduate next year.  Yesterday, I participated in a Polar Plunge, which is a really dumb thing that northerners do where we jump into a frozen lake (or ocean) in the middle of winter.  And then today I had my grandfather’s birthday party in the morning and then my boyfriends nephew’s birthday at night.  Needless to say, I’m a little whooped!

But I still wanted to post and figured I would show you guys an incredible green duochrome that was sent to be by Sabrina, The Polish Alcoholic!  We did a swap last month and she sent me some absolutely phenomenal polishes! So just FYI, you might get a few weeks of Sabrina related posts.

IMG_6374 Herome “Edinburgh” is a medium toned green duochrome that shimmers to a bright lime green.  When I first saw this polish in the bottle, I didn’t think it was going to be this intense.  But this is definitely one of the stronger color shifting polishes in my collection! I thought it was going to be a little bit of a lime shimmer, but as you can see from the picture above it really has 2 very distinct shades in there.

IMG_6375The formula on this polish was a little sheer but incredibly easy to apply.  The brush was so easy to use that it made application a breeze.  Sabrina sent me 3 polishes from this line in our swap and the brush from this polish is probably one of the best I’ve used for my nail shape!   It took 3 coats to get completely opaque, but the dry time was pretty fast.  Overall, it was a really easy manicure and I was so impressed with the Herome brand! I wish I could get my hands on more of these.

What do you guys think? Do any of you have any Herome polishes? Which are your favorites?
