Anny “It Girl”

IMG_6400Hey everyone, sorry I’ve been a little absent from my blog.  I have about a week and a half left in the semester and that means that the stress is building.  I took an overloaded class amount this semester, since I registered to get my Masters degree as well as my Juris Doctorate.  I’ve already completed 2 out of the 7 classes that I took this semester and 2 more are finished next week.  In lieu of a final for those 2 classes, I have a final paper which is 100% of my grade.  So needless to say, I’ve been writing a lot in the last few days and blogging has taken a back seat since I’m just sick of looking at my computer.

Today I have another polish from Anny that Sabrina sent to me in our swap.  And this one is definitely beauty.

IMG_6401Anny “It Girl” is a rose gold metallic foil with a strong silver shimmer.  I thought this polish was going to be a lot more pink toned, judging by how it looks in the bottle.  But on the nail the silver shimmer comes forward, making it more of a neutral rose gold, if that makes any sense.  However, it does remind me a lot of Orly “Rage,” just a little more silver, so look forward to seeing a comparison post in the future!

IMG_6398The formula on this polish was just alright.  It took 3 coats to be opaque and it was pretty slow to dry.  So while this polish is really pretty and really metallic, it takes a while to get a finished manicure.  The consistency was nice though, not to thick and not to thin.  Overall, it is a good polish for those of you who love rose gold but be prepared to be painting your nails for a while.

What do you guys think? What are your favorite rose gold polishes? What are your favorite Anny polishes?

  1. Oooh, that’s really pretty! ♥ The only rose-gold polish I can think of that I have is Orly’s Rage. Love it in the bottle but not against my skin tone. Not that you “need” it, but good luck with that paper you’re working on! ♥

    • awww thank you lu! i finished one of the 2 that i’m working on today so a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. and i have rage too and i’ve actually never fully worn it on its own. i’ve worn it for swatching and for the base of a lot of manicures but never alone. i wish you could get this polish because it might work against your skin tone a little bit better
