China Glaze “Celtic Sun”

IMG_7104Prepare your eyeballs! This sucker is bright! As a lot of you can tell by my recent nail polish posts and my YouTube videos, I’m all about the neons at the moment.  I never used to like neon nail polish because I felt like it was “too bright” and draws too much attention.  I always thought that my nails needed to look perfect in order to pull off a neon.

But oh man, I found a few polishes that changed my mind and after that I was on a hunt for the brightest polish I could find!  And in my eyes, the brightest polishes always mean highlighter yellow!

IMG_7106China Glaze “Celtic Sun” is a highlighter yellow neon creme.  This baby is BRIGHT! I am wearing it right now for a different manicure and I can’t stop looking at my nails.  Oh, and shameless plug here, I’m pretty far behind on blog posts so if you ever want to know what is on my nails on any particular day you can always check out my Instagram! (user name misshollyberries).

IMG_7105The formula on this polish is extremely sheer and runny!  I tried this on its own first and it looked like neon snot all over my nails, and I still couldn’t get it completely opaque in 3 coats.  So I learned my lesson and wore it over white.  This is 2 coats over 2 coats of white and it definitely brings out the brightness.  It dries really quickly and to a matte finish.  This is a definite favorite of the last month and I have already gone through a good chunk of this polish!

What do you think? What are your favorite neons?
