I have another indie polish to show you guys today from a new brand! Well, not new by any means, just new to my collection. I’ve seen some amazing bloggers feature Shimmer Polish, such as Work Play Polish and So Obsessed, and I’ve always wanted to try out some of these amazing glitter creations. And I knew that I had to try out one of the green glitters first!
Shimmer Polish “Erica” is an amazing green-ish glitter. I tried to figure out which color glitters make up “Erica” and from my untrained naked eye I can see light green, gold, silver, blue, teal, green and iridescent/opalescent pieces. Cindy, the maker of Shimmer Polish, describes “Erica” as a crystal peridot, which is seriously the perfect description! And makes me love it even more since my birthstone is peridot (hey hey August birthdays!)
I just did 1 coat over Zoya “Josie” for the pictures above. But look at how dense that glitter is! I wish I had tried to get this polish opaque on its own, because if it covers that well with just 1 coat I bet it would cover the nail completely in 3. The formula wasn’t too thick for being so dense either and it had a great dry time. Overall, I’m completely in love and this may be a staple on my nails in the month of August!
What do you guys think? Have you tried any Shimmer Polishes?
You can get Shimmer Polishes on her website or her etsy site!
