China Glaze “I’m With The Lifeguard”

IMG_7188You might want to adjust the brightness on your computer! This sucker is bright! I know a lot of you are already gearing up for the new fall polishes that are hitting the shelves (some are being released tomorrow!).  But I’m still enjoying all the bright colors of summer.  It seems like summer came so late that now I’m living in these super bright polishes!

IMG_7189China Glaze “I’m with the Lifeguard” is a neon lime green creme with a little bit of a silver shimmer.  And while the pictures show it basically glowing, it isn’t as bright in person.  Don’t get me wrong, this is bright … but it isn’t as bright as some of the other neons in my collection.  I like to refer to this as wearable bright.  It is loud but not obnoxious.

IMG_7187The formula on this polish was good for a neon.  It was completely opaque in 2 coats.  But be prepared for some cuticle drag.  And since its a neon, it dries matte and dries really quickly.  My biggest complaint is that this polish chips like no other.  It chipped on me within a few hours of putting it on, even with a top coat on.  So like another unlucky China Glaze bright (cough cough, Turned Up Turquoise, cough cough), this will be relegated to just nail art and as a base for glitters.

What do you guys think? What are your favorite neons?

  1. I think I’m the only person in the world that has neons lasts on me! I have Turned up Turquoise, and it wore great on me. I took it off after 3 days and not a single chip! I must have some sort of weird nail chemistry!
