Honestly, I didn’t mean to show this many Zoya nail polishes in a row! I was going through all the swatches I have on my computer and started to separate the summer shades from the fall-ish shades. This is one of the last summer polishes that I have to show you guys and started writing the blog post when I noticed that my blog has been very Zoya-centric in the last few days.
Zoya “Rikki” came out in the summer Irresistible collection and is a sage green foil with gold flecks. The gold is more visible in the bottle than on the nail, but it makes this polish a little bit more unique than other green foils. Honestly, I thought I would like the color a lot more than I do. I green is my favorite color and I like foil finishes, but this just didn’t do it for me. It isn’t foil-y enough and just didn’t jump off my nails.
The formula on this polish was fantastic! It was completely opaque in 2 coats and dried rather quickly. The consistency was a little on the thin side, but an opaque polish with a thin consistency isn’t a bad thing at all. I think this is going to be a layer polish for me to pair with glitters, but I don’t love it on its own. But that is just my personal preference for colors. This polish is fantastic so if you love the color then I think you should snatch this one up!
What do you think? What are your favorite Zoya polishes?
I don’t own this polish…yet… but I broke a bottle in an Ulta store and it looks great on my favorite pair of black pants. 🙂
oh nooooo!! that sucks!
Not my kind of colour but i bet the formula is fantastic
my thoughts exactly! this isn’t my type of color but it really was a great polish
I got Rikki in my last Zoya binge and have only worn it once, over a darker green. It was lovely – obviously I need to wear it again!
ooooooh i need to try it over a dark green! i bet i would like that a lot more!
I haven’t met a Zoya polish that I didn’t love, but I think Aurora is my favorite. This one is very pretty!
oh aurora is stunning! one of my favorites too
This looks great on you!
awww thank you!
