IMG_7377Happy Thursday! I don’t have class on Friday so this is sort of my celebration of the end of the week.  Plus, for us in the United States it’s labor day weekend.  Monday is Labor Day so most people are off work, schools are canceled and everyone is BBQ’ing, celebrating a much needed day off.  Since I don’t have school tomorrow and I don’t start work until Tuesday, I have a 4 day weekend!

Today I’m starting a new weekly series on my blog.  I guess I’ll call it Picture Polish Thursday.  Every Thursday for the next 9 weeks, I’m going to feature a Picture Polish or Ozotic shade on my blog.  If you follow me on any of my (many) social networking sites, then you know that I’m obsessed with Picture Polish and I’m slowly growing my collection!  And Picture Polish is starting to become a major brand in the nail polish world.

IMG_7380Picture Polish “Flirt” is a raspberry creme shade.  I’m normally not a fan of any type of pink, unless it is some crazy glitter or a light baby pink.  But this shade totally changed my mind!  It is the perfect transition from summer to fall because while it is a brighter pink, it is still a little darker to make it more “fall-esque.”

IMG_7378The formula on this polish was absolutely amazing! It was almost opaque in 1 coat!  For a minute I thought that I should attempt to do 1 really thick coat to get it opaque, but in the end I did 2.  But this polish dried so quickly that by the time I Was done with my last finger, the first was already dry.  The consistency wasn’t too thick or too thin, the perfect “Goldilocks” consistency.  I am sooo impressed with this shade and I’m wearing it as the base for the jelly sandwich right now!

What do you guys think? What are your favorite Picture Polish shades?

Check out the Picture Polish website for all the colors! Plus, for all of you who aren’t in Australia, they’re shipping page for rates! You can also like their Facebook, follow on Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram!  (hint hint, picture polish sent me this amazing shade because of Instagram, so get on that!)
