I’ve slowly but surely going through all the swatches on my computer. I have more backed up blog posts than I care to admit. But I think that I may not be that late to post about this polish! This was another polish that Judi, Middle Aged Beauty Queen, sent me in our little impromptu swap back in August. And this polish has quickly turned into one of the “it” colors this fall!
OPI “Peace, Love and OPI” is a charcoal grey duochrome/multichrome. This goes from a charcoal grey metallic to a purple and then to a green. My pictures don’t do the color shift any justice, because I’m slightly slow when it comes to trying to take good nail pictures. However, the shift is VERY noticeable in person, especially out in the sunlight. The color isn’t that unique and I actually was able to find 2 polishes that looked really close in bottle (hint hint, comparison post to come!) , and several more that were lighter shades of grey.
The formula on this polish was amazing! I have a lot of other grey duochromes with similar color shifts, but this one has the best formula out of all of them. This was completely opaque in 2 coats and dried really quickly. The formula was a little on the thin side, but that helped with the dry time. Overall, this is a really really nice polish and I wish I didn’t already have so many polishes similar. Be on the lookout for a comparison post to come!
What do you guys think? Do any of you have this polish?
