Black Cat Lacquer “Poison Apple”

IMG_7634Happy Monday! I have another Halloween nail polish to show you guys today.  I hope that you all had a good weekend.  I ended up having a pretty eventful weekend myself.   I went to a Haunted House on Friday, which is set in a real haunted prison!

Ever see Shawshank Redemption? Well the prison where that movie was filmed is about an hour south of me, and it’s actually haunted.  Every year, they put on a haunted house in the old decrepit cell blocks.  It was more cool than scary because I kept walking  around amazed at the history of the building rather than the creepy zombie nun jumping out at people.  Enough babbling … onto the nail polish!

IMG_7637Black Cat Lacquer “Poison Apple” is a apple red jelly thermal polish with a scattered holographic shimmer! This polish is AMAZING!  If any of you have been following my nail polish for a while then you know that I have a long standing love affair with red and black nails.  Although this polish does reach a full black, it looks super dark at the tips.  And the holographic shimmers just bring this polish to life!

IMG_7635If you guys have never tried a thermal polish before, you’re missing out! It is the easiest way to have a little nail art.  The idea is that anywhere that your nail is touching your skin, its warmed up with your body heat and its the lighter color.  Then the tips stay the darker shade.

The formula on this polish was amazing!  It was completely opaque in 2 coats and dried really really glossy.  The jelly finish helped make this polish glide on and really stay shiny.  The dry time was average and the consistency was really smooth.  This is a must have polish and would work for any season, not just Halloween!

You can get Black Cat Lacquer on her website!

What do you think? Do you have any Black Cat Lacquer polishes?
