Happy Sunday!! I hope you all had a great weekend! Today, my family and I celebrated our fantasy football league’s championship game. We started a fantasy league back in august with a wager that whoever won didn’t have to do anything during the big Christmas Eve dinner party we always have. I’m sad but happy to announce that my fiance took first place this year! I came in third, so unfortunately I’ll still have my usual chores but it was a great way to bring the family together.
So now I have another polish from the OPI Mariah Carey holiday collection this year. I still have a ton of holiday shades to go through and hopefully they will all be up before Christmas Eve.
OPI “Wonderous Star” is a white gold microglitter with larger black matte hex glitters. To me it looks like a glittery dalmatian! And this shade of white gold is a shape shifter. In some lights it looks very silver and in others it looks more gold, as you can tell from my index finger to my pinky.
This polish is a little bit on the sheer side. This is 3 coats and in some lights I can still see the visible nail line. But this polish shines so much that it almost looked like foil, so I didn’t mind too much that it was sheer. It was a pain in butt to remove though. The consistency was a little thin but it dried really quickly. Overall, I really like this shade and I think its a fun addition to a holiday collection.
What do you guys think? What were you favorite shades from the Mariah Carey collection?
Nice polish! And nice football competition 🙂 Sounds like it will be a fun tradition!
haha thanks! my family gets way into sports and football.
