This post should have been written on New Years Eve! Looking at the pictures now I keep thinking how this would have made a great new years polish. And considering that the name of the collection this polish came from was called Bling in the New Year (or something similar), it would have been even more perfect!
Sally Hansen “Midnight Glitz” is a black matte microglitter, black matte hex glitter, holographic gold microglitter and chunky gold hex glitter. It is New Years in a bottle! Its dark and vampy while still being sparkly and totally appropriate too. I’m getting antsy to put this polish on right now and imaging all the colors I could wear it over. Right now I’m envisioning cobalt blue. This is over OPI “All I Want for Christmas (is OPI).”
The formula on this polish was awesome! This is only one coat over the red and you can see how dense it is. Its so dense that it takes a brighter cherry red to a darker almost burgundy colored red. It dries really quickly and dries really smooth, without any bumps. The only negative is that it does dry a little dull, but a top coat will take care of that. Overall, its a great polish! And I think my favorite from that collection.
What do you guys think? Did you get any of the new Sally Hansens?
It looks a bit like the Fergie lacquer doesn’t it??
