Happy Monday! Please excuse my super long absence from my blog. I just got back from Washington D.C. for a class trip and it was intense, for lack of a better word. Each day was a 12 hour day, coupled with walking from law firm to law firm, so by the time I got home I was so exhausted that I couldn’t find the energy to blog. But I’m back and have a few new spring colors for you guys today!
I got this and another one of the new OPI Brazil collection polishes from Beyond Polish. You guys know how much I love Beyond Polish because its a one-stop-shop for all big name nail polish brands at a discounted price.
OPI “AmazON … AmazOFF” is a medium teal creme. On some nail polish blogs, this polish is shown as having a slight pearl shimmer. I couldn’t capture the shimmer, nor could I see it in the bottle. But know that there is a slight shimmer to this polish which makes it a little more unique than other teal polishes! I searched through my collection to see if I had anything similar, since it seems like such an ordinary color, but I don’t have anything like it!
The formula was amazing. Completely opaque in 2 coats, glided on easily and dried nicely. However, this polish stains! Ironically, I put this on and the next morning I opened up Twitter and Instagram and saw a few of my Twitter friends’ pictures of how badly this stained their nails. So I was immediately scared that I would have teal fingers. I removed this polish like I would remover a glitter, by holding an acetone soaked cotton ball on my finger for 20-30 seconds and then pull straight up the nail. I avoided staining that way, but unfortunately some of my cuticles did turn teal where I wasn’t as careful. So be prepared for some staining!
Overall, I love this polish and am so happy that I got this from Beyond Polish! Check out Beyond Polish for other collections, including the new OPI MLB collection (happy opening day everyone!). Beyond Polish was China Glaze, OPI, Zoya, Essie and more so you can find almost anything you’re looking for!
What do you guys think? Did you get any of the new OPI Brazil shades?
